Last essay

At the very end of this semester, I’ll think about Access to the workplace for the disabled. The ploblem is “handicapped people can’t do something without help. I think they can’t go up stairs and so on with a wet finger. If they use wheel chairs, they need elevators. At the stations or anywhere, another ways exist frequently. They don’t have any bumps so wheel chairs can go with a wet finger.

Besides, if they’re blind, they need Brailles at the beginning of stairs, crosswalks, something like that. If traffic signals tell that they can go with sound, it is helpful, isn’t it? 

If their ears don’t work, on television, for instance, there are letters to help their understandings.

Equipments for handicapped people is increasing day by day I think. Is this a good thing? My answer is actually “Maybe yes, mabe no.” The reason is ”NOT completed.” Sometimes they (handicapped people) can go with a wet finger but sometimes no. This is because the equipments are NOT sufficient.

However people make efforts each other I think, so I hope that this condition will be kept!

Cause & Effect

Recently, bad TV news exist. For example, A grandfather murdered all of his family. Not only that you guys know, on the platform of somewhere, a woman killed several people. Because of them bad news, people who lives near there are afraid of going out by themselves I think. As a result of these things, radio says that people SHOULD NOT go out late at night or you will go to the heaven.

Since these news exist, we SHOULD take care about ourselves, we know. Because of these news, world becomes weird weird and weird I think. Therefore we have to make effort to improve the world, right? If we do so, world will be improved. World have many bad news so we have to make effort to solve them. Oh, domestic violence is also counted. Due to these, divorces happen anywhere!

NOT only these! EARTHQUAKES happen in these days. For this reason, schools have to be canceled, children can’t see their friends because of danger, food for everybody was decreased, (news told me) and um… several fruits were damaged because of the earthquake. Or as a consequence of heavy rain, many houses were destroyed. As a result of these, people have to escape to other places to live.

In other case, one captain of the store lied to consumers about the place that the goods were made. For this reason, ALL workers belong to that store has to take responsibility. I saw the scene on TV. As a result of only the captain apologized to his consumers. For this reason, the number of goods we can purchase will be decreased I think.

Um… I remember the news like this.
In the afternoon, one female was murdered at the parking of somewhere and murderer wasn’t found, needless to say, it wasn’t arrested. Because of this happened, that store had to be closed temporarily. For this reason, the day when this news was given off, peson who lives near my place said that she won’t go shopping.

In conclusion, due to many bad, scare news like these, I think we should NOT go out late at nights or early in the mornings. And we SHOULD NOT go to the places that weird or seems to be danger. If we do so, we will be involved dangers with a wet finger! In other words, because we go to weird places, we will be involved them in a way. If we make effort to improve our world, as a result of our efforts, good, safe world will return!

Comparison [America and Japan]

I will compare about America and Japan. Here are several stuffs to compare. [Including people's attitude]

First, I will put GOOD things.

For example

Japan is safer than America.

Americans are very kind to everybody. (This is my favorite.)

In America, many people say something VERY FRANKLY.

Americans are affirmative.

Second, I will put BAD THINGS.

For example

Japanese are negative. (So am I.)

Japanese say something euphemistic frequently.

America is more dangerous than Japan.

Finally, I HATE THIS!

MANY JAPANESE PEOPLE ARE WEAK TO NON-jAPANESE PEOPLE.

As for this, here is my experience.

One day I went to the station to go to school. At the station, I saw two Brits. They don’t understand Japanese and don’t know how to purchase the tickets. They tried to speak to the other person. Although they tried, he escaped from them WITHOUT SAYING ANYTHING!! Soon after that, I helped them and they sighed for relief. (We three are friends now.) When he (one Japanese person) escaped, I was shocked! I said “Japanese people’s attitude to non-Japanese is very bad!” in my heart!  To cut short a long story, what I want to say is “Try to commucate with non-Japanese even if you don’t understand their languages!!”

I hate this attitude! I hate Japanese people who don’t talk with non-Japanese when they don’t understand them!!! I just want them to TRY even though they understand them!!!

In conclusion, Japanese and Americans are different. Neither people are right or wrong. (Needless to say, except the sad experience!) They are just different. 

 

Japanese Social Trends

Problems in Japan with global warming issues have become worse over the past decade because of three stuffs: Increased A/C gas consmption an inability to change old practices.

When we use A/C, warm air is given off into the atmosphere. This warm air will make the temperature of the earth higher. This is causing the temperature of the earth to rise. We have to do something to help our earth or it will be destroyed.

Now, what shall we do? For instance we use electric fans, we can open the windows and doors to get natural wind.

Gas use…. When we use cars, gas is consumed. We can use public transportations like buses, trains, and so on. If we use bicycles, no gas is consumed. If the electric cars exist, we can use these. We have another ways. We can walk to the destination if it’s not too far.

And we MUSTN’T changed the old practice. Do you know what I want to say?

What I want to say is “Long long ago, cars, A/C didn’t exist and we could keep the air clean. There are boards anywhere we go. They frequently say “We shouldn’t use the often or global warming will go!”"

For example I use the car once in a blue moon. I often walk, ride a bicycle, or take trains.

Now, everybody needless to say including me, let’s make efforts to stop the global warming!!

Golden Week (rewritten)

I had to do quite a few stuffs in my golden week.

First, I had lots of homework. I had to finish up by Wed.

Second, I had to fill out many forms to get passport.

Third, I had to take these many forms to Kyoto buildin’.

I decided to finish my homework before I got the passport.

In the afternoon, I finished the homework & I left home at three o’clockP.M.

I took the train to Kyoto and I got my passport and the manual.

When I got home, it was half past four P.M.

I read the manual in my room. It’s very helpful. I hafta read the rest.

And then, after all I had to do was done, I wrote a resume.

It doesn’t take too much time if I do efficiently.

After I did all things, I decided to practice my favorite music instruments. (the piano, the guitar, the harmonica)

Although I felt really busy, it was an enjoyable golden week in a sense. 

 

What Ukyo did in Golden Week

Hi guys! I did a few stuffs in golden week.

First, I made a resume for job-hunting it took long time. It was boring.

Second, I had to do my homework. Although It was quite a few and difficult homework, I managed to finish up by the due. How do you like them apples? Phew!

And then, I remembered some new English idioms includin’ slangs.

I enjoyed remembering them coz they have interesting meanings!

They are all what I did in my Golden Week.

And um… I’ll use slangs in my blog from now on when I can use. How does this sound?

 

Way to get good grades

We know, we hafta get good grade.

How can we do? The answer is very simple.

All we hafta do are studying for many hours & previewing several subjects we are bad at.

Sometimes, we need short break. Some people can do very well after the break. I can.

Even when we have only a few days till the exam, we should NOT be in our hurry! Coz we are in a hurry, we make mistakes, misunderstandings and other bad things. 

 

Golden week

I don’t have any plans for golden week yet. Probably I will do nothing. Coz Anything out of the ordinary just makes me nervous! I will learn many English idioms (proverbs) and jokes from various materials.

“Money doesn’t grow on trees.” “The end justifies the means.”

Person:Hi! What’s up?

Other Person:Hmm… The sun, and sky, and clouds!
